Avvaiyaar was a great Tamil poetess. She is considered the grand mother of Tamil literature. One of her best works is Athichudi, a classic Tamil literary. It contains profound wisdom and life lessons, making it timeless and relevant even in today's world. The Athichudi is a collection of single-line quotations - each line beginning with each letter of the Tamil alphabet.

I absolutely loved bringing 13 cherished verses of Athichudi to life through captivation illustrations highlighting scenes from daily life of two adorable children. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed illustrating it. 😍
